This Week's Virtual Experiences
There is more to quarantine life than Netflix and HBO. Change up your lockdown life with these cool virtual experiences.
Virtual South African Safari
African wildlife is stunning, beautiful and a great virtual escape from your home. Luxury safari hotel group andBeyond has teamed up with wildlife broadcasting experts WildEarth to stream its personalised game drives twice a day. Viewers will have the chance to spot the Big Five (elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions and leopards) in real time with each drive spanning three hours. When: daily from 5am to 8am UK time for sunrise drive and 2:30pm to 5:30pm for sunset drive. Where to watch: you can find the andBeyond livestream here.
Fancy a workout? Want to try something new? Strap on your high heeled shoes and join Dolly Trolley for drag aerobics. Live on Instagram and Facebook every Wednesday at 7.30pm UK time
Theatre? It’s out there, we know, but you should seriously consider watching this epic show instead of whatever 6.2 rated IMdB movie you’re considering watching next. Watch Danny Boyle's monster hit Frankenstein with Jonny Lee Miller as the creature and Benedict Cumberbatch as Victor Frankenstein. Available on demand until 7pm UK time on Friday 8 May.
Nowadays is a cool club in NYC. Virtually Nowadays is a nightly live stream that will run between 8pm and midnight (EST). They’ll be broadcasting live and direct at nowadays.nyc/stream. If you wanna party, this is a good place to tune in. On May 7th DJ fart will be in the club, which we think sounds amazing ;)
Club Q aka Club Quarantine
